Carolyn Fronczak, MD

Dr. Fronczak is the founder and Medical Director of Modern Urology Colorado.  She is board certified by the American Board of Urology.  Her expertise spans urologic issues in both men and women.  Dr. Fronczak strives to provide compassionate, evidence-based care, and offers state-of-the-art effective urologic treatments.  She believes in empowering patients with knowledge on their condition, their bodies, and their treatment options so patients themselves can share in the decision making process. Her approach to care fosters the development of meaningful lasting relationships with each patient.

Dr. Fronczak is a Colorado native, attended Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic school, and graduated from Fairview High School.  She is a cum laude graduate of Wellesley College in Massachusetts with majors in both Biology and Economics.  She received a Master of Science in Public Health degree from the University of Colorado, received her medical degree from the University of Colorado School of Medicine, and did her general surgery and urologic surgery training at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha, NE.  Dr. Fronczak is an avid runner and triathlete, participates in several half marathons and triathlons each year, and will complete her 5th IronMan70.3 this June 2025. 

Dr. Fronczak is an excellent listener and very thorough in her approach to patient care.  She takes time with each patient to understand their issues, which are often times complex. 

She has treated thousands of patients in the Boulder/Denver area, with patients even traveling from neighboring states to receive her care.
