About Me
I am a surgeon and Urologist specializing in Reconstructive Pelvic Surgery in women and Functional Urology. My practice focuses on the treatment of benign lower urinary tract and pelvic floor disorders, particularly in women. Conditions I treat include urinary incontinence, voiding dysfunction, female urethral stricture, female urinary retention, urethral diverticulum, fistulae, and pelvic organ prolapse. I treat many women with complications of prior surgery for urinary incontinence and pelvic floor disorders, such as mesh-related complications. I specialize in complex female pelvic reconstructive surgery including minimally-invasive vaginal and robotic (daVinci) surgery and native-tissue repairs. As a urologist by training, I also see male patients, specializing in men with complex voiding dysfunction and other uncommon disorders of the bladder such as Hunner’s ulcers. I am Board Certified in both Urology and Urogynecology and Pelvic Reconstructive Surgery (formerly known as Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery; more information can be found here https://www.abu.org/certification/subspecialties/urps-subspeciality).
