Ty Higuchi, MD, PhD

Ty Higuchi, MD, PhD, is an associate professor in surgery-urology at the University of Colorado School of Medicine, Anschutz Medical Campus in Aurora, Colorado. Dr. Higuchi earned his PhD at Colorado State University before earning his medical degree from the University of Nebraska College of Medicine in Omaha, Nebraska. He completed his internship and residency at the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine in Rochester, New York as well as a fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation Program in Cleveland, Ohio. Dr. Higuchi specializes in prostate diseases and conditions, reconstructive urology, reconstructive pelvic surgery, kidney stones, urinary incontinence, and bladder disease. He has many published articles to his name and is a member of the American Urological Association, Alpha Omega Alpha, the Society of Genitourinary Reconstructive Surgeons, the Society of Urologic Prosthetic Surgeons, the Rocky Mountain Urological Society, and the South Central Section of the American Urological Association.
